Technical characteristics

Modularity.
The palletisation unit is constructed by combining the following components, according to client requirements, overhead crane, assembling bench, tile tilting table, wrapping unit, shrinking unit, inkjet marker, storage.

Automation adapted to client requirements.
Palletisation is controlled by a programmable logic controller.
The unit can be wholly automatic or semi-automatic with personnel in attendance for instance for shrink wrapping operations.

No civil works.
The palletisation unit requires no civil works. It is simply laid and fixed on a concrete screed.

Gentle handling.
In order to avoid damaging tiles when they are loaded onto the pallet, all movements must be carried out using controlled flow hydraulic actuators or varispeed drive motors.

"Plug and Play" installation.
The palletisation unit is fully assembled and tested in our workshops.
It is delivered pre-wired, with the entire hydraulic system connected. Installation on site merely consists in fixing it into the floor and connecting up to the electrics cabinet.

Step 1.
The pusher plate compresses the stack of tiles and pushes it onto the tilting table which constitutes an extension to the compression bench.

Step 2.
The stack of compressed tiles reaches the end of the tilting table. The sensor automatically halts the pusher plate.

Step 3.
The tipper table No. 2 flap pivots until it is vertical.

Step 4.
Flap No. 1 pivots in turn and pushes flap No. 2 until it is horizontal.

Step 5.
Flap No. 1 continues its course and the tiles go through a quarter turn.

Step 6.
The central section of flap No. 2 lifts up so that the wrapper can be inserted under the stack of tiles and shrunk.

Step 7.
The central section drops back down. Shrink-wrapping is completed. The stack of tiles is ready to be removed by the grab, the overhead gantry, a handling device.
